Welcome to Shree Ganesh Jewellers Brisbane. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of any products or services from us. By accessing this site, you agree to be bound by these terms and all applicable laws in Queensland, Australia.

Accuracy:

We strive for absolute accuracy in descriptions, weights, and images. However, as many of our 22K and 24K pieces are handcrafted, minor variations in weight (typically within +/- 2%) and appearance may occur.

Gold Market Fluctuations:

Prices for bullion and certain gold jewellery may be updated in real-time. We reserve the right to cancel orders if a pricing error occurs due to a technical lag in market data.

GST:

All prices are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated otherwise.

Contract: 

A contract is formed only when we send a shipment confirmation or a “Ready for Collection” notification.

Payment Methods:

We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and payment providers like Afterpay. For high-value transactions, we may require a 100-point ID check in accordance with AUSTRAC regulations.

Custom Orders:

Orders for bespoke or modified jewellery require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Final payment must be cleared before the item is shipped or collected.

Security:

All orders are shipped via secure, insured couriers or Registered Australia Post. A signature from a person over 18 is mandatory upon delivery.

Risk of Loss:

Risk and title pass to you upon delivery to your specified address.

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Major Failures: 

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure (e.g., a manufacturing defect that makes the item unwearable).

Minor Failures: 

For minor defects, we will repair the item within a reasonable timeframe.

Change of Mind: 

Due to the high purity of 22K & 24K gold and hygiene regulations, we do not offer refunds for “change of mind” on earrings, nose pins, or custom-made items. For other stock items, a 21-day exchange or credit note may be offered at our discretion, provided the item is in its original, unworn condition.

High-Purity Gold:

Customers acknowledge that 22K and 24K gold are significantly softer than standard 9K or 18K gold. These pieces are more susceptible to denting, scratching, and bending.

Exclusion:

Damage resulting from “hard wear,” accidental impact, or repairs carried out by a third-party jeweller is not covered under our manufacturing warranty.

If you utilize our “Gold Exchange” service, you must provide valid government-issued photo identification. All transactions will be recorded in compliance with the Second-hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 2003 (Qld).

The content, designs, and logos on this website are the property of Shree Ganesh Jewellers. Unauthorized use of our “SGJ” branding or design renders is strictly prohibited.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shree Ganesh Jewellers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of the courts of Brisbane.
